Bringing a Ukulele back
to life can take a while,
Sometimes as long as
three months to do!
Most of that is just
waiting for paint
to dry of course...
Ive reduced this process
into seven pictures.............
Ukulele in need of a makeover.
Smoothed and filled.
Glued, and a lot of sanding.
6 layers of base colour.
Painting the details...
Copper leaf is added.
8 layers of varnish, and sanding!
